Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates, or PP&P as it's known, is a cartoon that was on in 1990, and was one of the very best out there. It presented Neverland in a way that was probably the truest and most accurate in relation to J.M. Barrie's book. The characters; from Peter and the Lost Boys to Hook and his men, all had believable personalities and traits, as well as flaws and devices that made them extremely real, and very easy to understand. From Peter's arrogance and conceit to Slightly's rivalry with Nibs; from Hook's longing for youth, and revenge on Peter, to Mullins' belief in the superstitious. All the characters embodied what makes us human. And this was portrayed in the show with a sophistication that wasn't seen in cartoons very often. Unfortunately, the show didn't get the recognition it deserved and ultimately it was canceled. But that doesn't mean it's been forgotten. In fact, us avid PP&P fans who remember the show have found ways to keep the it alive. And this site is one of those ways.
