Anna Stokes

|
Name: Anna Stokes
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Likes: Being a lost girl. Flying around and going on adventures with Peter and the lost boys - and her
sister as well. Spending time with Slightly every chance she gets. Hanging out with her sister and Tiger
Lily. Helping her mother with things around the underground house, and learning the different skills White
Snow Dove is teaching her mother. Listening to her mother’s stories, playing pretend and going on buried
treasure hunts.
Pet Peeves/Dislikes: Sometimes Peter’s arrogance gets on her nerves, but it’s her sister’s brazen boldness
towards him that bothers her the most. She’s not exactly fond of going to the Jolly Roger either. She goes
because her sister and Slightly do. She doesn’t like the pirates, except Billy Jukes. After all he is her
favorite lost boys best friend, and she - along with her sister - are very careful to make sure Slightly and
Billy’s friendship stay a secret. She doesn’t like the mermaids either.
Romantic Interests: She really likes Slightly - a lot. She loves to spend time with him regardless of if
they’re all in the house, or out and about somewhere. She always tries to make it where she’s at his side, or
at least close to it. The truth of the matter is, she and Slightly feel the same way about each other, but
because they’re as young as they are they don’t understand it and don’t know how to tell each other. They
both get that warm, fuzzy, giddy stupid feeling around each other, but have no idea what to do about it. As
a result they spend a lot of time together and have become very good, close, sometimes inseparable friends.
Now if they could only figure out how to tell each other how they feel.
History: She’s Amy’s twin sister. She’s the youngest by seven minutes. She also has a younger brother,
Christopher.
Good Points/Attributes: She’s the more level-headed of the twins girls. She does have a temper, but she
doesn’t let it get the better of her the way Amy’s does. She speaks her mind and has no problem being bold
with what she has to say, or correcting Peter on something. But she does it in a
way that’s not condescending or patronizing, unlike her sister. She’s loyal to all the lost boys - seeing them
as her brothers - and to her real one, (Although she sees Slightly as more than a brother, but she’s uncertain
how to tell him.)and will do whatever to get them out of a jamb if she has to. She’s a surprisingly good
fighter, and will rise to the occasion if necessary.
Bad Points/Attributes: Because she’s not nearly as bold as her sister, or as brave, she tends to hold back
with things which can lead into problems.
Fashion Statement: Anna favorite color is red. So it’s no surprise she wears it all the time. She loves to
wear the red shirt her mother made her. (Amy had one in dark blue to match. In fact the twins love to wear
the same outfits, just in different colors.) It’s cut straight across the front and back with thin straps.
Attached to the straps are sleeves that are pieces of fabric sewn from front to back. They then fall loosely
from the shoulders down to about her elbows. (The entire shirt looks like patches sewn together actually.)
The pants she wears, also made by her mother - like her sister, Anna will never be caught in a skirt, she
hates them - are a reddish brown, heavier material that fit loosely on her. She eventually ends up wearing a
pair of brown leather pants - like Amy - that her mother made for her after tearing the ones she had. Anna
tore these pants on purpose so she would have an excuse to go back into the underground house and spend
time with Slightly late one morning. Sneaky, huh? Her shoes are black slip-ons that have a criss-cross
buckle up by the ankle.
Physical Appearance: She’s an inch taller then Amy, who hates that fact, but she’s also the more petite of
the two. This is because she’s not as interested in physical activities as her sister is. She has long, light
brown hair; almost a sandy brown which is the same color as her father’s was. She wears it in two braids
that, according to Slightly, “dance across her back and shoulders.” Her eyes, like Amy’s, are sky blue, but
they have a softness to them than matches the more gentle nature and personality she exhibits.
Anything: Despite whatever differences there may be between the two of them, Amy and Anna are very
close. But then this is to be expected, they are twins, and twins have that bond that nothing or no one can
break. In fact they feel because there are some distinct differences between them, this makes their sisterly
bond much stronger. They’re able to tap into each others strengths which then helps them with their own
weaknesses.
